The tycoon side
You are the studio head. Every building, price and hire changes how much fun your players have, and fun is what keeps them paying.

Two games in one: the studio that runs an MMO, and the MMO itself.

Raise land, dig rivers and lakes, paint biomes and plant forests. Your island grows from a starter meadow into deserts, coasts and volcanic badlands.
Place towns, inns, armories, stables, quest boards and the Grand Exchange. Add monster dens and boss lairs so every level range has somewhere to fight.
Subscriptions, auction cuts, trade tax, housing deeds, salaries and upkeep, all in one book. Raise the price and earn more per player, or drop it to zero and run a cash shop.
Every player online is paying you. Watch who's online, which races they play, what they love and what makes them quit.
Hire developers and Game Masters, take out loans, and research parties, guildhalls, boss lairs, world bosses and master smithing.
Each expansion raises new land from the sea and lifts the level cap, giving your veterans somewhere new to go.
Guild wars, the Featherrunner Derby, world bosses and double-XP weekends keep the realm talking.
Players report botters and exploiters. Ban a real cheater and the server cheers. Ban an innocent and the forums catch fire.
Press Play and step into the world as one of its players. It plays like a single-player MMO: the crowds, the trade chat and the guild drama are all part of the simulation.

Log in as a player in the world you built. Choose from 15 classes, then take a second one with dual classing.
Join parties for dungeons and bosses, create or join a guild, and fight in your guild's wars.
Buy a house, place furniture exactly where you want it, and keep your treasures in a House or Guild Chest.
Fight other players, earn a title, and watch the bounties pile up on the realm's most wanted.
Loot weapons, armor and trinkets, buy from the Emporium, the Forge and the Stable, and ride your own mount.
General, Trade, LFG, Party and Guild channels fill with players selling loot, forming groups and reacting to your decisions.
Slimes in the starter meadows, giant spiders in the forests, skeletons and sand scorpions on the desert roads, dragons in the volcanic badlands, and world bosses that need the whole server.
